I posted a message a few weeks ago about what to wear to keep warm in the winter, and the snomobile suit was a good suggestion, but i found something even better. Check out http://www.intersportfashions.com/, they have a suit called thermal gear in a one or two piece version. I ordered the one piece from my local dealer. At only $155 it is a great value...BMW sells a simular suit for almost $1000. It has really thick polyester lining and is completely wind and waterproof, and although kinda bulky it works great. I was wearing it the other night when it was around 40 degrees and I couldn't feel a thing through the suit, and this was on a 30 minute ride. The only bad thing is it's still 80 degrees during the daytime here so I have to stuff the whole huge thing in my backpack for the ride to work. For anyone who rides year round, this suit is great! The guy at the dealer who sold it to me, however, said that he used to ride in 30 degrees below zero with just a leather jacket and a thin rain suit to keep the wind off....he's either lying or its true about northeners being able to stand the cold so much better than us in the south....
